VONOA Carbon & Titanium Spokes

At the heart of the Aerion EVO is one of its most interesting technologies.

OVERFAST uses 3.0mm VONOA carbon spokes with titanium interfaces, combining extremely low spoke weight with the stiffness and responsiveness expected from a high-performance carbon-spoke wheel.

VONOA's carbon spoke technology is designed around exceptionally high tensile strength and low elongation, helping create a wheel that responds immediately when power is applied.

The result is the sharp, direct ride characteristic you'd expect from a wheelset engineered around outright performance.

OVERFAST EVO Hubs

The Aerion EVO uses OVERFAST's flagship EVO hub system.

Designed specifically around the demands of an ultralight carbon-spoke wheelset, the EVO hubs contribute to the remarkably low overall system weight while providing the precise spoke interface required by the VONOA carbon and titanium spoke architecture.

Front and rear hubs use modern road thru-axle standards:

The Aerion EVO 50 uses a wide, modern rim profile designed around contemporary performance road tyres.

The wider internal profile provides improved support for modern tyre widths, creating a more stable tyre shape while allowing riders to take advantage of lower pressures and higher-volume road tyres.

Hooked Rim. No Compromise on Compatibility.

Despite the relentless pursuit of weight, OVERFAST retains a hooked bead on the Aerion EVO 50.

That provides greater flexibility when choosing tyres and pressures while maintaining the security many riders still prefer from a conventional hooked road rim.

Maximum stated pressure with a 28c tyre is 110psi.
